Aloha everybody! For this blog post, I am bringing you a blog post all about scrubs and exfoliating, my current fashion inspiration board (which features celebrities, fashion shows and fellow bloggers!), and the Shopaholic tag, which I thought would be pretty fun! I hope you enjoy! BeautyOne thing that is so important all year round is keeping your skin exfoliated and healthy. For this blog post I thought I would share my favourite scrubs for body and lips, and then some moisturisers to help keep your skin smoother for longer! Scrubs 1. Lush Life's A Beach Body Scrub Powder This is a powder that you mix with water to make the scrub! It exfoliates extremely well, but because it is a powder form, it isn't the most moisturising option. 2. Soap and Glory Flake Away Scrub I love the smell of this product! This scrub, unlike the Lush one, is super moisturising and exfoliating at the same time. I have a smaller version but I find a little bit goes a long way! 3. DIY Lip Scrub To make this you will need: - 1 part honey - 1 part brown sugar - 1 part oil (olive, jojoba, almond, coconut) After Scrubbing: Stay Moisturised! After your skin is smooth and shining, keeping moisturised is essential! Here are some of my favourite products to keep my skin smooth. 1. BodyShop Vineyard Peach Body Butter $23.95 This is one of the BodyShops classic moisturisers: they come in the screw lid containers. Personally, this is one of my favourite BodyShop scents. I love the moisturising values of this product! 2. BodyShop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet $19.95 This product is a little bit different to the body butters, but it is still just as moisturising. To me, I feel like this moisturiser is a little thicker, with bits in it to help exfoliate further. Even though that sounds a little weird and off putting, trust me, it is marvellous stuff! 3. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balm with SPF 15 $3.50 Yes, once again, I mention this product on my blog. The reason for this is this is my holy grail lip product. It is the most moisturising lip balm I have ever found, and possibly the most affordable! If you can get your hands on this, I highly recommend you purchase one! FashionI have put together some "inspiration boards" for fashion! These boards contain looks from celebrities, runways and even a few fellow bloggers here and there! I would just like to say a quick thank you to the lovely Grietje from the blog second agenda.be and to the lovely boldbliss.com blog for allowing me to feature one of their many beautiful outfits in this post! I am eternally grateful! 1. From the wonderful blog: secondagenda.be I love this outfit! I love the pattern and the style! I also recommend checking out this blog if you haven't already, its a great read! 2. Shay Mitchell via beautifulballad.org The yellow suits her skin tone so much! The colours are just beautiful! 3. New York Fashion Week 2015, Street Style I love the patter of this skirt, especially with the coat and neutral colours. 4. New York Fashion Week 2015, Michael Kors The skirt in this outfit is so beautiful! I love the layers and the print! Its spring in a skirt! 5. New York Fashion Week 2015, Nicole Miller I absolutely love the print of this two piece outfit along with the shoes 6. Shay Mitchell via stylebistro.com I love the colours of the bodice compared to the black and the colours of the clutch. Such a beautiful summer and spring outfit! 7. From the gorgeous blog: boldblissblog.com I love the denim and stripes in this outfit! I think the look is really casual but still chic and cute. Definitely check out this blog too, its really great! 8. Paris Fashion Week Street Style I love the pattern of this outfit! I think the glasses, clutch and jewellery really compliment the outfit. 9. Paris Fashion Week Street Style This top compliments the skirt so much! Such a lovely spring outfit for more formal occasion. 10. Spring Runway Look I'm not sure who this is or what designer this is from but I really love this look! The pastel pinks are gorgeous, especially with the white skirt. 11. Cara Delevinge via thezoereport.com This casual top and shorts is so lovely. I love the hair and shoes too. LifestyleSince I hardly ever do tags, I though I would change it up and do one this week! I have decided to do the Shopaholic Tag!
1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic? I would say I'm a budget, border shopaholic. I love shopping for deals and don't love splurging. Although, as I get older I become a little bit worse! 2. How would you classify your style? I would say my style can range from casual to glam and chic. My everyday look would be a really cute casual outfit, maybe some jeans, shorts or sometimes even a cute skirt. 3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing? Cotton On! I know I've mentioned it 100000 times on my blog, but I just love their stuff! Its really affordable and most of their stuff really fits my style. 4. Where do you find the best deals? Priceline is the best place to find deals on makeup, skincare, hair products, nail polishes and more! They always have sales on and the staff are really helpful. 5. What designer are you willing to splurge for? I'm actually not one for splurging too much, but I think I would make an exception for Chanel. It would have to be a piece that would never go out of style. 6. Do you have a go - to shopping outfit? I don't have a particular outfit but I don't usually like wearing a dress or playsuit as I always need to find a bottom or top to see how the item actually looks. 7. What is your guilty pleasure, not including makeup? Probably jewellery! I love dainty little rings and earrings and usually fall in love when I first see them. 8. What is one staple clothing item you cannot live without? Shorts. Without at least one good pair of shorts, life wouldn't be the same. 9. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style? The skinny leg jean! Other styles of jeans come and go, but I hope skinny jeans never go out of style! I think they can be styled in so many different ways and can be really chic. 10. What trend did you love that passed too quickly? I can't really think of any! I guess if nothing comes to mind, it was really that good! 11. Who is your fashion icon? I actually have quite a few icons! Like I've said before, I LOVE Shay Mitchell. I also love Audrey Hepburn and Taylor Swift. I also like to take inspiration from bloggers, as you would've seen earlier in this blog. And that is it! Thanks again to the lovely ladies at second agenda.be and boldblissblog.com for allowing me to feature them in my inspiration board! I have some really exciting themed blog posts coming up soon, so I hope you are excited! Hope you enjoyed! xxxx Emily
