I think we can all agree that mornings can be a little hectic. I'm definitely guilty of pressing the snooze button a few too many times, giving myself hardly any time to get ready and get out the door! Whether I'm getting ready for school, work or just a day out, this natural 5 minute makeup look never lets me down! I find the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation to be the perfect option for quick application and blending, especially when used alongside the Benefit Porefessional Primer and the Napoleon Perdis Pro Makeup Sponge. On the days that you want an even more natural, lighter look, a BB cream can be a great alternative. I love the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream as it is super affordable and looks great on the skin. If needed, concealer could also be applied at this stage. I've recently tried the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer and I really love it! Next I set my foundation with powder. I used to use a translucent powder but I found that the powder really made all the little hairs on my face stand out, especially in photos or in bright sunlight. I've started using a mineral powder instead and I prefer it way more! Since I wasn't sure whether I was going to like it or not, I purchased a fairly cheap one to start. But as it turns out, I love the Savvy Mineral Loose Powder and continue to use it. I use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to stipple the powder in, especially over any oily areas. I love using bronzer to add some shadows and colour to my face. To apply my Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder in Radiant Bronze I use the Nars Ita Kabuki Brush, then blend the lines out using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I can never leave the house without eyebrows. As you can see in the earlier pictures, my eyebrows are naturally SUPER light, and when I don't fill them in, I feel naked and unfinished! I prefer to use a powder instead of a pencil or pomade, and I really love the Essence Brow Stylist Kit. The powder lasts throughout the day and blends into the eyebrows easily. This next step is something that definitely depends on the occasion or how much time I have. If I have the time, I like to sweep some colour through my crease and over my lid. I used the Smashbox Mini Full Exposure Palette this time, running colour M3 and M4 through my crease and over my lid, finishing off with a sweep of colour S4 over my lid. Similar to eyebrows, my makeup never feels complete without mascara. I chose the Essence Lash Princess mascara for this look as it gives great volume and length whilst still looking fairly natural. And last but not least, lips! I'm always changing from lipsticks, liquid lips, lip balm or gloss, but for this look I decided to use the NYX Lip Lingerie in Bedtime Flirt. I really love this colour on myself and the product lasts on my lips all day. And that is the completed look! I hope you can all find some inspiration or ideas from this post! xxxx Emily
